I remember hearing about FRANKIE COSMO and being a little taken aback. Kevin Kline and Phoebe Cates' kid? Oh god another celebrity offspring trying to be famous. Then I heard them- And it was such a breath of Fresh air and shoegaziness youth. Every track on THE NEXT THING- is incredibly short and incredibly poignant. Like a peek into someone college diary that they just handed it to you during a boring lecture for sake of activity..and you read it to cure it. And then you both laugh and walk around campus getting to know each other in the most relaxed way possible.
